I've enjoyed all of the podcast episodes so its hard to pick just one favorite.   Three that I found very powerful are:

Speaking Your Truth
Beyond Lies The Wub
Diseases of Civilization

Which are your favorites?

The Favors We Do For Animals--one of the more recent podcasts, was excellent and I wish it was required listening for anyone and everyone!  The earlier ones on protein and calcium pretty much blew my mind and convinced me to transition from vegetarian to vegan.

Hi, I came upon the podcast about a month ago and am now trying to give up animal products.  (haven't bought any meat since and have cooked some new things for me -- seitan, tofu, tempeh and cooking a lot of beans!)  Have been wanting to join the message boards for a few weeks now but what has finally pushed me to do it is that I am trying to find the podcast where Colleen talks about Simon and how the one vet gave him the vaccine and it turned into a cancer.  I'm not sure I'm doing this right or am posting in the right place but if anyone sees this and knows, would you please let me know?  Thanks!

Hello girl42

I think you are looking for the "My Evolution Through Cats: A Tribute and a Memorial" Podcast which you can find here..(along with all of the others).

Thanks Cujosdad but I'm almost sure this discussion wasn't included in the beautiful memorial to Simon but was a separate one dealing with the problems of vaccinations  -- I could be wrong though.

Hi wonderful people,

The episode in which I talk about Simon's fibrosarcoma is What do Vegetarians Feed Their Cats and Dogs?

This episode isn't the one that moved me the most, but it's definitely my "favorite" because I listen to it over and over:

Favorite Foods: Carrots, Dates, Walnuts, Oats, and Brussels Sprouts

I eat Brussels Sprouts at least 2x per week...even before I went vegan, so this one was one of the first I picked out of the list to listen to. And I learned to eat DATES!

Definitely my favorite.

MrsNix, you should try medjool dates. They are fantastic! I get them in a little hand-packed container in the produce department of my supermarket. Delicious.
