I was hoping that you might be able to give me some suggestions. I am a vegan based in Bangkok, Thailand. I have been completely inspired by Colleen's message and try to do the best I can. I feed delicious vegan food to anyone who will eat it, have a vegan cooking class for students at the school that I teach at and try to spread the message.
I'd like to do more, but I feel rather isolated as I am the only person in my community who is really interested in being active in animal advocacy. I've done research and there is not really anything out there and I have even tried to start a few things up, but it has not been very successful.
All this to say, that I'd love to do some more activism. Surely in this internet age, there must be something I can do to help animals in Australia, US, UK or Canada from Bangkok. Does anyone know of an organisation that might be in need of few volunteer hours a week. I have a few things to offer. My communication skills are pretty good, I am a Google docs whizz and pretty responsible and keen to help those poor animals out.
